How do you get “do-follow” links with appropriate anchor text? You can buy them, ask friends to provide them or create good content that other people link to.
A relatively easy option is to leave comment on blogs/websites in your niche that allow “do-follow” links in the comments section. Where do you find blogs in your niche that allow “do-follow” links in comments?
Finding Do-Follow Comment Blogs in Your Niche
A simple trick will do the work. By default, all links in comments are “no-follow” links. However, some bloggers want to encourage readers to leave comments. So they offer the bait/reward of “do-follow” backlinks. Blogs running WordPress use CommentLuv or KeywordLuv plugins to make links “do-follow”.
If you have seen a blog with KeywordLuv active, you will realise that it has a small checkbox below the comment box to enable the “do-follow” backlinks. You also find the following description on most of these blogs: “This site uses KeywordLuv. Enter YourName@YourKeywords in the Name field to take advantage.” This means most do-follow WordPress blogs will have these words: YourName@YourKeywords.
So if I want to find blogs that allow “do-follow” links in a particular niche, I can easily find them by running a search for YourName@YourKeywords says “Keywords” on Google. Adding keyword in the search gives us blogs that are related to our niche. But why “says” in the search? It ensures that only blogs that have published comments how up in the search result.
So if I am looking for “do-follow” blogs for getting backlinks to my website on “making money”, I will Google for: YourName@YourKeywords says “making money“.
Pretty simple, huh! Go get tonnes of backlinks to your blog.
